Children's Education

We joyfully welcome children every Sunday to learn, worship, and grow in community. Through songs, stories, play, and loving guidance, our youngest disciples discover God's love in a nurturing and engaging environment.

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) promotes high quality early learning. The Early Learning Center of St. Mark Presbyterian Church has been consistently accredited by NAEYC since 2005.

The Child Care Services (CCS) program helps eligible Texas families pay for child care with scholarships so families can go to work, search for work, and attend school or job training. 

Child development resources for families. Zero to Three believes parents are the real experts on their child's growth and development, and there are no "one-size-fits-all" approaches to raising children.

HCFS operates at the intersection of urgent need and lasting change. They foster mental and physical wellness, stability and independence for individuals and families who are in crisis in Kendall County.

Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) is a statewide program within the Texas Health and Human Services Commission for families with children from birth to 36 months with developmental delays, disabilities or certain medical diagnoses that may impact development.

The Texas Education Freedom Accounts was created to give families more choices in their children’s educations. Funds will be made available to eligible students accepted into the program that can be used for tuition, tutoring, home-school educational expenses, or other approved education expenses.

The Patrick Heath Public Library’s Youth Department provides for the educational, recreational, and informational needs of children of all ages. Children will experience a sense of joy and wonder by exploring the world through their library.
